My name is Mari Komnæs, and I am a PhD student in English Literature at Lund University, Sweden. I am from Oslo and did my BA at the University of Oslo, then lived in England, first as an exchange student in Sheffield and then completing my Master’s degree at the University of York.
My PhD project is on women’s writing during the turbulent and exciting 1790s, just after the French Revolution. My research profile at Lund can be found here.
I love video games, horror, and pulpy fiction. So, do not be surprised if some of that nature surfaces on my blog. I love to use my literature degree for evil by doing annoying takes on pop culture.
