My name is Mari Komnæs, and I am a PhD student in English Literature at Lund University, Sweden. I am from Oslo and did my BA at the University of Oslo before living in England, first as an exchange student in Sheffield and then as an MA student at the University of York.

I love video games, horror, and pulpy fiction. So, do not be surprised if some of that nature surfaces on my blog. I love to use my literature degree for evil by doing annoying takes on pop culture.
Finally, I am an avid hiker and beginner forager. I am currently gearing up to take the test for Certified Mushroom Identification Expert in Norway. I sometimes write a bit about mushrooms and foraging on my blog
